Our Coaches

Before establishing himself in the coaching and player development side of the game, Brendan Heayden honed his skills in youth hockey in Massachusetts. By the end of his high school career, he had become one of the all-time point leader's and the first player in the program's history to start and play at the varsity level as an 8th grader. Brendan then progressed to junior hockey, where he captained the NE Knights and played over 100 junior games. After his playing career concluded in the EHL with the WEHC, Brendan transitioned immediately into coaching, working as the director for Vikings Hockey Club.

Coach Brendan

Coach Mitch grew up in Lincoln, Rhode Island, where he began his hockey journey. After playing youth hockey in Rhode Island, he advanced to junior hockey in the NAHL, playing for the Bismarck Bobcats and South Shore Kings. Mitch continued his hockey career at Salve Regina University before moving up to the professional level, playing in the ECHL for the Atlanta Gladiators, the Nashville Predators' ECHL affiliate. With extensive experience both on the ice and behind the bench, Mitch has spent numerous summers coaching youth players at various camps and clinics. He is dedicated to helping the next generation of hockey players achieve their goals and takes pride in serving as a role model for younger players aspiring to high-level careers.
